Gripping Wrenches is awesome….if you want an honest reliable mechanic this is your place. My 2021 Silverado has two batteries and one of them died so I replaced it and then it died a couple of weeks later. The person at the autoparts store said something was draining the battery. I assumed it was an alternator. I spoke to him on the phone and he recommended before I bring it in to have the secondary battery tested and explained to me how to properly test it. Lo and behold the second battery was dead.and I replaced it. They could have charged me a diagnostic fee and who knows what else but rather than make me waste time or money he helped me some good FREE advice. This guy is a Godsend! I was told by another shop I needed a transmission and was already looking for another vehicle since I have high mileage. A friend recommended him to me and I'm so thankful I made the call. I just needed a belt and sensor to get me back on the road - not a transmission at all! Outstanding service on such short notice. He changed the starter and battery on my Cadillac STS on Christmas Eve. The starter is definitely located in a jacked-up spot.
